Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located conveniently inside the Coral Square Shopping Center in Coral Springs, Sarku Japan offers an inviting gateway into the vibrant world of Japanese cuisine, perfectly suited for those seeking both quick service and authentic flavors. This fast-casual Japanese restaurant stands out by delivering a thoughtfully curated menu that spans from traditional teriyaki plates to inventive fusion sushi rolls, all crafted to satisfy a variety of cravings with speed and flair.

The teriyaki selections are a highlight here, with dishes like the Chicken Teriyaki, which pairs tender, savory chicken glazed in a flavorful sauce alongside a medley of crisp mixed vegetables and fluffy steamed white rice. For those wanting a surf-and-turf experience, the Beef & Shrimp Teriyaki offers a satisfying combination of juicy beef and succulent shrimp, balanced by fresh veggies and your choice of noodles or fried rice for a small upcharge. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and umami-rich flavors, with enough heartiness to curb any hunger.

Sushi lovers will be equally delighted by Sarku Japan’s fusion rolls. The Red Bull Roll tantalizes the palate with layers of imitation crab, tuna, and avocado wrapped in silky salmon, topped with tempura flakes and a spicy mayo drizzle that adds an exciting kick. The crunchy Rock & Roll and the indulgently creamy Tempura California Roll, deep-fried to golden perfection and finished with eel sauce, offer nuanced yet comforting bites. These rolls showcase a balance between traditional Japanese ingredients and modern, bold flavors.

For a more complete meal, the Bento Boxes provide excellent variety and value. Options like the Chicken Bento feature steamed rice, a fresh garden salad, four California rolls, and three golden fried dumplings, creating a symphony of tastes and textures that cater to those who enjoy sampling different dishes all in one sitting. Choosing fried rice or noodles as a substitute simply adds an extra dimension of warmth and comfort.

The dining atmosphere at Sarku Japan is casual and family-friendly, ideal for quick lunches, casual dinners, or a convenient meal while shopping at Coral Square. Customers often comment on the efficiency of service and the friendly demeanor of the staff, enhancing the overall experience. While some reviews mention small hiccups such as occasional communication lapses or slight variations in freshness of some items like dumplings, these moments are far outweighed by the consistently flavorful and satisfying dishes served.

One customer remarked how pleasantly surprised they were by the generous portion sizes and the depth of flavor usually unexpected from mall food, praising the $11.99 Teriyaki Special that includes entrée, rice, vegetables, drink, and spring rolls. Another highlighted the value and filling nature of the bento boxes, complimenting the thoughtful inclusion of salad, sushi, and dumplings. These authentic touches and value-packed meals make Sarku Japan a dependable choice for those seeking Japanese cuisine without compromising on taste or convenience.

Whether you’re stepping in for a quick bite or settling down to enjoy a sushi roll or teriyaki plate, Sarku Japan at Coral Springs serves up a diverse menu that resonates with both newcomers to Japanese food and seasoned aficionados. The flavors, the textures, and the approachable service create a warm, welcoming space that invites you to explore the rich culinary culture of Japan—right in the heart of your local mall.

Inside of Coral Square Mall in Coral Springs. First time having and was worth a review. I ordered my daughter the volcano sushi log and I had the bento entrees with Chicken. It was great price and filling. Drink was not included in the meal but the meal was great amount of food with rice, I did fried however, you can do white rice. Side salad, sushi, and dumplings. For 12 99. I am looking forward to going back again. Also, everything is fresh! The sushi is made fresh to order. And the meals are also made fresh to order. 10 out of 10

Was at Coral Square and saw the $11.99 Teriyaki Special at Sarku Japan. It included entree, rice, veggies, drink and 2 Spring Rolls. We gave it a try and we were presently surprised how good it was for mall food. It was a decent size portion with lots of flavor. Food was cooked up fast and the staff were nice & friendly. Would recommend and will return soon. :)

Overall the food was good, but the dumplings, although fried, were a bit old and dry, and so was the California roll. The chicken and the salad were good.

The food was great the only ossue was communication among the cahier and the chefs. Me and my friend both order bento boxes but only one was delivered and then we had to wait for the dumpling which too time from the steaming hot food. Next time more clear service communication. 8 out of 10

I loved Sarku japan because they are one of the best mall foods I've eaten. You know, as far as mall food goes that is. But this place has been here for years, you've seen them cooking up some hot chicken in those tall red hats. They have a stamp program where you can get a free meal after 6 stamps. For 8 bucks you get a bed of rice and a nice helping of teriyaki chicken. Beef and shrimp is also available for a little extra, but the chicken is always hot and delicious and ready to go.

When we are not cooking at home, we will swing by and pick up 5-7 orders of chicken teriyaki for ourselves and company. The food has always been hot and plentiful and the staff, efficient and friendly. It's a quaint dining area and it's always clean.

Inside food court of Santa Monica Place on third floor you can find several different places to eat, if you love miso soup like I do here is delicious, cheap and although without free refill you will end up having two cups at least! Have to try something else but it's always so crowed I go there only to get my miso!
